Winners, winners, winners! Everybody's a winner! And Question 70 in the great ...you know the rest!

I'm starting to think that only the Big Four are going to take part in this contest.  And I'm using take part loosely, to accommodate certain people whose names I won't mention but who rhyme with Shmichael Shmoffut.

So anyway, you Big Four are in luck because literally every one of you won this week.

Andrew and Rusty, I couldn't make up my mind about which of your blogfest entries was better, so I've split the prize: You each get $5 Amazon Gift Cards, which I will (I swear) send by the end of the week; I can't do it before then for actual financial reasons I won't get into here other than to say that if I send all the prizes I owe people (I owe other people too and I haven't forgotten about you) I will not be able to help Mr F and Mr Bunches buy Sweetie a Mother's Day present and you don't want to make Sweetie cry, do you?  What's wrong with you?

PT Dilloway, you won the weekly comment drawing, so I now owe you four ebooks, in any combination, from the list at the bottom of this post.

And Shmichael Shmoffut? I'm giving you a free e-book because you said I inspired you to go jogging and I know you've been through a lot lately.  See? I'm such a nice guy.  Pick one from the list.

Now: The WHAMMY! Question.  As I type this, only two people have entered.  But I choose the WHAMMY! number via random numbers, and it picked Number 3, so the number 3 answer submitted will WHAMMY!  I leave it to the four of you to figure out how to twist that ruling around.

Here is the question:

What did Bart and Milhouse do to get banned for life from The Android's Dungeon?

REMEMBER: do NOT leave the answer in the comments. email me your answer at "thetroublewithroy[at]yahoo.com".  Put WHAMMY! in the subject line so I don't miss it.  I get, like 37 emails per day on that address alone.

On the offchance that they were banned more than once, I'm looking for the Star Wars related answer.

This isn't Star Wars, but I love it anyway:

NEW TO THIS? If you are, don't despair.  The
Official Rules of the 100-day, 100-question Star Wars Blogathon are right here.  but in essence you get points by leaving answers to the questions on a daily basis, and every comment you leave is an entry in my weekly drawing.

In the comments, let me know if I should do ONE FINAL Triweekly Blogfest Challenge.  I've got a doozy of an idea and 30 days for you to do it.

The standings are here.,

and here is my Han Shot First blogfest entry, Rusty's entry, PT's entry, and Andrew's entry.

Here's the list of authors whose books are up for prizes.  Are you an author? Do you want your book to be eligible for  a prize giveaway in which I buy the book and give it to someone else?  Leave a comment.

Okay... my answer is sent.
No bonus 50 points, yesterday :(

I sent in my answer after carefully perusing the internet as I did not know it. My wager is half my existing points (whatever that total may be).

Oh I just checked the standings. Andrew has got a laughable lead on everyone. Now that's just funny.

@Michael: That's because of last week's whammy! fiasco.
But that could change at any point, still with a whammy. And Grumpy has enough points to catch me, still, as long as he doesn't whammy.

@Briane: Thanks for the shared win! I would have hated to have had to make that call. Rusty had a great piece. I really had to pull out all the stops after reading his.

I damn well shouldn't have whammied this week.

BTW, can I offer my free eBooks to anyone who wants them?

PT Dilloway said...

OK, so the first four people to show up here can claim the eBooks I won. Just let Mr. Pagel know which one you want. One per customer unless four people don't show up.

I can't believe 5 1/2 hours have gone by and not a single person wants a free book.

Andrew Leon said...

Hmm... well, Briane already owes me a free book, but I'll just let be known that I'd take a copy of the book with spider on the cover.
Not that I'll have time to read it before, probably, July, but...

Where's my time stopping machine?!!?

Maybe you should go hang around bars and see if there's any guys with weird foreign accents to give you a magic stopwatch like in The Twilight Zone.

Andrew Leon said...

Well... I'm not really much of one for bars. I've only ever been in to a bar a few times in my whole life, and I wasn't terribly impressed. I sort of figure if there's some guy somewhere that wants to give me a magic stopwatch, he can find me at home a lot more easily than he can find me in some bar.

PT Dilloway said...

Yes but you have to buy him a beer and then he'll give you a magic stopwatch as a thank you. That's how the system works.

I just have to shake my head. I've tried Tweeting, Facebooking, blogging and yet not one person wants a free book. People are dumb.

Hey! I said I'd take one!
