a place for stories

exists to publish writing.  It began as a blog to publish my writing, but I wanted to reach out and help other people get published, too, and encourage writers.

The idea of lit is to have stories that are interesting: not to focus on a genre or style or type. Just to make things interesting.  lit wants to publish stories that make you think: maybe you won't like them all, maybe you won't get them all.  But (hopefully) you will read them, and think about them, and remember them.

Also, I really hope you like them.
