222 Words About "The Avengers." The Best Movie EVER?

This is a Random Number Of Words review.  For more information about this, and a list of other such reviews, click here.

At one point during the movie The Avengers, I spontaneously began to laugh, not because there was anything particularly funny going on in the movie, but because I was so happy to be watching this movie.

I can't remember feeling like that about any other movie I’ve seen in recent memory, feeling happy to be alive and watching this movie.

I’ve seen some good movies in my life, but none of them have measured up to my elation at how good “Avengers” was. There is literally nothing wrong with the movie. The fight scenes feature every possible combination of awesomeness one can imagine. The slower, plot-development scenes are like that lap when you’re jogging where you pace yourself before another sprint. Even the parts that should not work, like Hawkeye and Black Widow fighting an alien invasion with a bow and arrow and judo, somehow work.

Before I saw The Avengers, which I watched Friday, a coworker said “It’s a little long.” I beg to differ: it’s a little short.

I didn’t want it to end.

I wish I was still watching it, right now.

I thought maybe I was just excited by the movie and I would come back down, but I saw it Friday and I’m still not over the rush. I might skip work and go see it today.

I have a review of it on Thursday which is a bit different than your take on it.

I loved this movie! I've seen it twice. Did you stay through all the credits to see Thanos and the shwarma meetup at the very end?

Captain America is my favorite to just stare at. He's so handsome.

Robert Downey is my favorite just all around because he's got the best lines and he's handsome too. Very sexy.

And the rest were okay on screen too.

Sounds like a good thing the theaters are dark.

Mrs. C. and I saw it over the weekend and loved it thoroughly. It was, in my opinion, the perfect action movie, filled also with humor. I loved that it didn't take itself too seriously. I agree that it didn't seem long at all.

It was a great movie. I saw it twice myself. One of the few movies I've seen in IMAX and not felt ripped off by the experience. Worth every penny.

I've seen it twice, and I want to see it again. It's too bad the movie budget for the month is all used up.
