Thanks for the shout out Briane. I don't think that Game of Thrones is just Lord of the Rings with no magic. It has plenty of magic. GRRM is just subtle about it, but he pretty much breaks out whatever he needs at any time so anything goes. He's had resurrections, dragons, a huge wall that's 800 feet high and cuts a continent in half, demons being birthed from women on demand, etc. Plus the Mountain has been turned into an undead creature of furious might...maybe a golem or something.
