Guess who reads "The Best of Everything?"
Stephen Colbert, that's who. Last week, on his December 4 show, Stephen (or perhaps I should say, Mr. Colbert) introduced the show by saying that he was going to have someone on who wanted to create a Woolly Mammoth from DNA, which Mr. Colbert said was "playing God." Then he added: The only person who's allowed to play God is Morgan Freeman.
Which is a very funny line, Mr. Colbert. A line that was first said here, on The Best of Everything, in June, 2008, when I said:
"if you're going to have a God character, at this point, it has to be Morgan Freeman."
So, Mr. Colbert, welcome to TBOE Nation!
