The Ten Best Heroes In Cinema (According to The Boy)

The Boy's list of Movie Villains was the second-most popular page on this site in May. (Number one? The Best Ice Cream named after a superhero, proving that a blogger can't go wrong mentioning superheroes.)

So, because I'm lazy and because you love 'em, here's another of The Boy's lists. This time, I give you The Top 10 Best Heroes In Cinema. And, because The Boy doesn't give reasons, I've paired them with The Top 10 Songs On The Boy's iPod (as determined by number of plays:)

10. Superman (From Superman: The Movie)/"Gimme Shelter" by The Rolling Stones.

9. Hercules (the cartoon)/"Lux Aeterna," by Clint Mansell

8. Mr. Incredible (The Incredibles) / "Jeremy," by Pearl Jam

7. William Wallace (Braveheart)/"Extreme Ways," Moby

6. Samwise Gamgee (The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy)/"One," Metallica

5. Forrest Gump/"Viva La Vida," Coldplay

4. Indiana Jones/"Dragostea Din Tei," O-Zone:

3. Batman (From The Dark Knight)/"Enter Sandman," Metallica

2. Luke Skywalker / "No Quarter," Led Zeppelin

And The Boy's Number One Hero In Cinema/Number One Song On His iPod:

1. Neo (The Matrix)/"White Rabbit," Jefferson Airplane.

You have one cool son there, who appears to have distinct tastes.
Any sixties Stones is the ultimate soundtrack to any movie, or even life. And Luke Skywalker will always be the best. (Although he signalled the end of a short career for Mark Hamill).
