Food is now entertainment as well as sustenance. Premade
food is cheap and plentiful enough that cooking is a hobby; you should no more
cook your own meal than you should write your own novel.
That is partly why I am into “event food,” like the Bacon
Sundae. It did not disappoint, either in
spectacle or taste.

Man, you suck! I have not stepped into a Burger King in years (or gone through one's drive through), and, now, I want to! Maybe, I will just make my own bacon sundae!
I'm not crazy about bacon unless it's being grilled over a camp stove. It's probably interesting with ice cream, but is it really necessary? I doubt it.
