YO! Adrian! (Off The Top Of My Head)

This week, one of the people I follow on Twitter -- This American Life-featured Dad Joshua Karpati (@jkarpati) -- sent me a link to watch a portion of Goodfellas that played off my telling him he was funny.

And I watched it, because I'll watch almost any video link you send me.

(Almost any.)

Then I got to thinking about how I never saw Goodfellas, which is a movie everyone else seems to have seen, which led me to the

1. Goodfellas.
2. Citizen Kane.
3. Godfather Part II

9. The Hustler.
10. Casablanca
11. It's a Wonderful Life
12. Raging Bull
13. Apocalypse Now
14. Any Rocky movie.
15. Any Rambo movie.

You haven't seen "Rocky?" Those movies are awesome! Especially the third one that features Hulk Hogan and Mr. T before they were household names.

I'll admit I haven't seen the Westerns on there or The Hustler (which I last night put on my Netflix Instant queue) or Raging Bull, which is also on my Netflix Instant queue. I haven't watched Gone With the Wind either because 3-4 hours of some Southern gold digger seems like too much to me.

And really Citizen Kane and Casablanca are two of the greatest films ever made!

There's plenty of those I haven't see too, but like Rogue, I have a hard time coming to grips with you not seeing Rocky, any Rocky..

I'm very impressed that you, as a human being alive on Earth, (I'm assuming), were able to avoid all the Rocky and Rambo movies. If you can revert back to a twelve year old mentality for the duration of the flick they can be quite entertaining but your life experience won't be enriched by any means. Just a slight lower chakra kick at the climax of the movie when our hero becomes most saturated with his own bodily fluids and defeats the opponent with his last ounce of willpower, like ten million other movies of that type. So keep up the good work, man. Just say no.
