In Star Wars News, IO9 reported this week that science had finally made a "real" lightsaber, which was the most exciting Star Wars Lightsaber-related news since IO9 reported someone had made real lightsabers... kinda, which in turn had been the most exciting Star Wars Lightsaber-related news since IO9 reported on a lightsaber replica that caused blindness and cancer, all of which was obviously a ruse by "science" to cover up the fact that I was right about velociraptors when I said they never existed, which, okay, scientists aren't able to admit yet that velociraptors are entirely fake (as I proved, scientifically, long ago) but at least scientists are now admitting that velociraptors were just slightly-less-scary primordial turkeys:

THE fearsome velociraptor dinosaurs of the Jurassic Park movies may have looked like bad-tempered turkeys in real life. The actual creatures were much smaller than the ruthless fictional predators - and scientists have now established they had feathers. ...[T]he bird-like creatures stood just 3ft tall and weighed a mere 30lbs.

That doesn't have anything to do with Star Wars other than to emphasize that I. Am. Always. Right.  Which, okay, that doesn't have anything to do with Star Wars, either, but it does feel good to point out.
